Vergo is just a superstar, the kids in my class absolutely loved the story and couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next. The plot is light and playful but has some important messages that I think we could all learn from.

Our family loved this story so much. There is something really wholesome about these goats and the messages throughout really resonated with us. I think it is something we will try to apply to our lives more often. Vergo and Penelope are a wonderful pair and show just how important friendship is growing up. It is better to have one great friend than a thousand fake ones. We look forward to the adventures of Penelope Pink πŸ™‚

I already can’t wait for the next books, meant to leave this review ages ago. I read the story to my ks2 class and they were completely captivated. They learned a lot from Vergo and I really believe it helped them understand bullying more and the dangers of it.

I ordered this book around Christmas. I didn’t think that my boyfriend would like it very much. Much to my surprise, he loved it. Now, this book is certainly not for a 27 year-old, but he loved it all the same. Children will love the illustrations and the story has some great tips on life.

I think that this is a great inspirational story for kids. Verti-Goat has lots of messages about bullying fears and overcoming those hurdles. This little goat refuses to be just “ordinary”. There are wonderful characters in this story and it is well written. I liked that there were lots of messages to provide inspiration for kids. Recommended and make sure this is in your must buys this year.

I loved reading this to grand-daughter.

I really love this book. It’s a good story about a goat who is different and gets laughed at by the other goats. But Vertigoat has a supportive family and a good friend who give him good advice and tell him that it’s ok to be different. In the end, it’s Vertigoat’s difference which saves the day. I think it’s a great message to give to children.

I am a teacher and I will be using this book both in literacy classes and in SPHE (social, physical and health education) as it encompasses the idea that no matter how big or small we are, we all have problems and we can all overcome them with some strength and hard work.
